Sammamish Children's School

The original 14,000 square foot Sammamish Children’s School building was completed in 2003 and again renovated in 2008 with a completely new 6,000 square foot addition due to the overwhelming success of the school. With modern lines and materials on the exterior, and exposed post and beam construction on the interior, the Sammamish Children’s School raises the bar on private educational facilities.

The scope of work included site work, construction of the new school facility and construction of several outdoor structures, including two shed-roofed, open-air play structures and an outdoor bicycle “race track” for the students. Architectural appearance-grade materials were used for the impressive exposed roof structure. Unique materials, both inside and out, along with a whimsical color scheme, provide a fun environment for the teachers, parents and students.
